A nude billboard featuring Kelly Brook across major traffic intersections of the United Kingdom has caused concern to driving safety experts, reports The Mail, London.
Safety campaigners have blasted the billboard campaign featuring the stunning model naked as a 'deadly distraction'.
The new adverts, which show the busty brunette in nothing but a pair of Reebok trainers, have been launched this week, at busy junctions and traffic hotspots across the UK.
But driving safety experts at the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) have slammed the 40-foot billboards, claiming Kelly's 'killer curves' are certain to cause serious or possibly even fatal accidents as excited male drivers crane their necks for a close look.
When the infamous 'Hello Boys' advert for Wonderbra was launched, dozens of accidents were attributed to male drivers being distracted by stunning underwear model Eva Herzigova.
Peter Rodger, Head of Driving Standards at IAM warned: 'The fact that most men remember the "Hello boys" Wonderbra advert indicates how distracting roadside adverts can be.
'Some will be more distracting than others, and some will be placed where the effect is particularly significant.
'They all add to the clutter pulling your visual attention away from the road and adding to the information you need to process as you drive along.'
Previous research by Canadian scientists found that accident rates rise by up to 50% after advertising hoardings were erected at busy junctions, highlighting the dangers of roadside distractions.
A spokesman for the road safety charity Brake added: 'It is absolutely vital that drivers keep their full attention on the road to avoid crashes which may lead to injury or death.'
Launching the ad campaign for Reebok's latest range of 'Reetone' trainers confident Kelly said: 'I'm so excited to finally have my own billboard, it was really fun creating the shot and Reebok EasyTones definitely got my bum ready for the occasion!
'It's a bit scary having yourself up on a billboard but I suppose I've got to get used to it, because I just did a shoot for Playboy.
'It seems this month is my naked month!'
But Reebok were quick to defend their new posters, insisting drivers were 'cautious enough' to ignore the naked snaps of the busty model.
